You'd think being the son of the number one and number six heros would be awesome, right? Well for Tommy it's actually not. Not only are there people observing you to meet their high expectations with very close and watchful eyes, but there are also people expecting you to fail as well, to go down the same path as your brothers has done.
This is why Tommy hopes that him going to UA and training to become a hero with his best efforts will make people see him as him and not just the son of the number one and six, not just the brother of the two reject villains.
But is being hero really all that heroic that people put it out to be..?

A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. It Runs in the Family - SBI Hero AU
In the ""wise"" words of c!Ranboo, "choose people not sides." Sometimes, though, you have to choose a side. Tommy's lived in the same town forever, his two older brothers taking care of him and all the other crimes in the city as the top heroes after the death of their parents. From running around town with Tubbo (and maybe Ranboo sometimes) to skipping school (also with Tubbo), Tommy could probably take on the world as long as he had his best friend beside him. However, when you're assigned a side from birth, it's hard not to have enemies...... ~ ~ ~ Mostly Tommy's perspective, some angst so TWs will be listed at the beginning of those chapters. Wilbur was a hero, the second best hero to be exact. And it was his job to protect everyone that resided in his beloved city. Everything was perfect for the hero, he had a lovely father and two brothers, he had his friends, and he even had a boyfriend who he loved more than life itself! Wilbur loved his work to keep his city safe, but there was always someone trying to prevent that. Sometimes it was large villains who killed and killed, other times it was a simple thief. Sometimes, it was a shapeshifting villain who liked scarring others and ruining lives. Sometimes it was a villain who helped unlock hidden powers yet was insane enough to fight in a burning, collapsing building. Because that night, Wilbur fought alongside a way-too-young-and-way-too-familiar vigilante and his family against a famous villain with an ability so powerful it seemed fake. The world was never have been ready for Shift in the first place, Shift was the villain who's identity was so secret no one had a single lead to go attempt to catch them. In a forgotten world full of heroes, villains, and vigilantes, a world that had neither a good or bad ending, or maybe no ending at all. Who knows? Wilbur was tired of being a hero. He liked to believe that he was a good hero, but being a good hero wasn't enough. It was never enough. Always compared to his twin brother, the golden child of the Minecraft Hero Family. Wilbur lived in Techno's shadow. He hated it so much and he wasn't sure how much more he could take. He wanted to be seen for who he was. He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else's story. Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis. A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival. His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain. He had met the hero once, and that was all it took. The eldest of the Minecraft children was so much more than anyone realized. There was a deep running fury hidden under his mask. The hero was fast approaching his breaking point. I was meant to write a story for English, so here it is! It is a Dream SMP story! Tommy meets many new friends who all have secrets. Some are Villains, some are Heros, and some a Vigilantes. But when his friends on one team finds out he's friends with the other two teams, what will happen? Author Note: As this was written 2 years ago for English class, the love for this story is crazy! Thank you! So, when I wrote this for school, we had 2 months to write all parts of a story. With a minimum of 1500. With a love to write, 8000+ with working whenever and wherever. I had so many more ideas I couldn't add. Now, I've lost interest in the DSMP, now more into Hermitcraft and Empires. Motivation has been basically a boomerang, tossing, losing, finding, repeat.
