It hardly ever snowed, but when it did, it was like watching all the colors come back to life in all the white that covered everything around him. Walking in the snow reminded him of fairytales.  No reason, but it just did. But trying to fake a smile and walk past her house was the hardest. Remembering her came in flashbacks, and her voice echoed all around his head.  Memories flashed in front of his eyes, playing silently like a film without a soundtrack.  It felt like fire, burning holes in his heart, leaving marks and charred matter in a hole made for it, just like the footprints on the white sand. He was trying really hard to keep it together, but it always just fell apart on him, hitting him into a stare of indescribable agony. The world was falling apart around him, but it was strange how sometimes she was the only thing he could think of.

Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told. I laughed then to break the intense atmosphere that had taken over but it just made his eyes crinkle and his dimples appear. "Oh" was all I could say. I was actually speechless. I mean what could I say to that without spilling my guts to him. Hi! This is a grumpy x sunshine, next door neighbour, he's obsessed with her and she's oblivious to it romcom. Also this is my first ever attempt at writing so please leave any feedback/ improvements you feel I can make in the comments lol. Also I don't usually read over my writing so sorry for any mistakes.
