A deadly virus has ravaged Japan, forcing its inhabitants to flee in search of safety. A year later, the surviving members of Class 1A are still haunted by the trauma of loss and survival. Amidst their struggle, a glimmer of hope appears in the form of Hawks, who offers a chance for redemption and closure.

Led by Aizawa, the class sets sail to the now-abandoned Japan in search of Eri, who was tragically left behind during the chaos. But as they venture into the desolate ruins of their homeland, they soon discover that something far more sinister is waiting for them-something that will test their resolve, their bonds, and their very humanity.

This story is a what-if scenario that unfolds before the events of the First War Arc. It explores theories and questions that were popular at the time, such as:

•The identity of the UA traitor.
•The shared past of Dabi and Hawks.
•The untold history of Stain.

Additionally, this story offers a chance for redemption for characters like Minoru Mineta, giving them room to grow and evolve in the face of adversity.

A Note on Characterization:

I've done my best to stay true to the personalities and motivations of the MHA characters as we know them. However, the events of this story push them into uncharted territory, forcing them to confront new challenges, traumas, and revelations. As a result, their growth-and sometimes their decisions-may diverge from what we've seen in canon.
