After a deadly virus forces the inhabitants of Japan to flee, a year later and the surviving members of Class 1A remain haunted by the trauma until a form of redemption reappears in the form of Hawks.

Putting together a team, Aizawa and Class 1A set sail to an abandoned Japan in search of Eri, who was left behind during the chaos. But little do they know that something else is waiting for them.

This story is a what-if scenario that takes place before the events of the First War arc. This book incorporates theories that would've been popular at the time, such as the identity of the UA traitor, Dabi and Hawks's upbringing, and Stain's backstory. I even added a redemption for Mineta.

I'd like to add that there are hints to certain ships, but it's strictly to push the plot. Although two become official in the end.

Lastly, I apologize in advance if the characters aren't similar to the cannon. I tried my best to write them as similar as possible. Even so, the events of the story change them drastically, so this is new terrain for the characters.
