While Cynder grew up in the Dark Temple deep within the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana where the Dark Dragon Lord Galventer was training her to be evil. However, Cynder doesn't want to be evil, Galventer took notice of this and cast an evil forbidden spell on her and turned her into Dark Cynder.
