After leaving NYC, Patrick and Gina agree to work out their relationship long distance. One in Chicago and the other in New York City. They struggle with only communicating with each other through their phones. Surviving mostly on Star Wars movie dates, nightly video chats, and naughty messages.
Patrick tries to bottle up his insecurities and hide his jealousy when Gina starts spending time with a new friend. At the same time, Gina is dragged into drama by her roommates after they break off their engagement. All while they figure out how to make it work outside of being a celebrity crush and a fan girl.
