After years of being the best of friends, Max and Liz ended their friendship on a row. Once free-spirited and outgoing, Liz is now a quiet girl with dazzling, deep blue eyes. She constantly finds herself having a lot to say, but struggles to find the words to convey what she's thinking. With a loving boyfriend and dreams of going to university, she thinks her senior year will be the best of her high school career Max has has become the opposite. He's turned into a darker version of himself, and his rebellious ways take a toll on not only his acedemic performance, but begin to affect every other aspect of his life - including his and Liz's friendship. And although he seemingly cares about nothing, he still has a soft spot for his childhood friend. With everything changing in their lives, can they go back to their pasts or will their conflicting futures get in their way? **Note: This story will be told from alternating points of view, which will switch with each chapter.**

Hi, after many years I've decided to write again. I hope you enjoy reading this story. This is a BL romance story. Will include mature themes as well as some themes that might make some uncomfortable. I'll put in content warnings when those themes come up. Max is a 28 year old guy that has been alone for the past two years. Almost completley isolating himself. His best friend suggests he gets a roommate, so he doesn't have to live alone. And the story unfolds from there.
