Born into a post-war world in which humans were slaves, Rebeccah Elizabeth Hansen just wants to keep her head down and protect her little sister, Ellie, from the attentions of their alcoholic mother for as long as possible.  But she knows The Giving Day is fast approaching, and she will be given to Justin James Morrelli, Master Vampyre and overlord to every species, leaving her human compound behind for reasons kept hidden from her.  Soon she will be hurled into the violent, unforgiving realm of The OtherWorlders, ancient races each with their own agendas and a dangerous lack of concern for who they have to use to achieve them.  Armed with only her own desire to survive and a foul-mouthed faery BFF, Rebeccah must discover the secrets of her past and navigate her future while attempting to not lose herself.
    
    Bear with me!  This novel is completed, currently in the editing phases with my editor, but I have serious social anxiety with summing the whole damn thing up in a paragraph--give it a shot, I promise you won't be disappointed!  I'm much better in novel than I am in description ;)
