Waylon Fowl wasn't surprised when her Hogwarts letter came, actually she didn't care when it did. It didn't seem important at the time seeing as she now had a giant gash across her, it definitely seemed less important than the fact she had just been attacked by a werewolf whom was trying to get to her little brother. Her mother and father seemed to agreed when they came running down stairs to see there little girl holding a hand to her neck that was trying to stop blood. And the Fowl family definitely didn't care when they had packed up all there things and moved to a little sea side cottage in the middle of nowhere. 

However Remus lupin did care when he got his letter that allowed him to attend Hogwarts, he also cared once a month when he turned in to a werewolf and he cared when he noticed a Gryffindor whom he had never seen hanging around Lily Evans and her bunch. And he definitely cared when he saw he scars that had been left on her skin by one of his kind.
