Dimension Apocalypse

In the year 2020, several hundred million people suddenly disappeared and were never seen again. The world didn't know what happened to them until the year 2050, when the missing people are coming back.

Those who came back explained what happened. They are the players of Ancient Myths Online, and that massive multiplayer online role-playing game sucked them in. When they died, they thought it was the end, but they returned instead. When they came back, the Dimension Apocalypse had already started.

In the year 2030, mysterious towers suddenly emerged in the capitals of every country in the world. Different space warps containing ferocious monsters from different worlds appeared out of nowhere, and they called them Dungeon Gates.

A massive island emerged in the Bermuda Triangle, and in the middle of it is the so-called Tower of Babel. After the appearance of those towers and warps, monsters flooded the world and killed millions of people. Humans would almost go extinct if not for people who suddenly awakened and gained special abilities. After years of battle, the missing people came back with much more experience in battle and special abilities.

Those people who awakened are called Hunters, and since then, the system of the world has changed. Those events are written in history, and they called it the Dimension Apocalypse.
