Garden Dancing Lights

Carolina Divina Estefania is a sickly young woman who lost both her mother and brother when war broke out on the night of December 27, 1941, when the Japanese forces bombed the city of Manila. In a desperate attempt to escape the fatalities and uncertainties of the once peaceful streets, Carolina and her father decided to evacuate to the mountains to hide from the foreign armed men and save themselves from death.

Luckily enough, Carolina and her father were able to meet Filipino soldiers, who took them in for shelter. The two later become a part of the medical team who unceasingly aided in the treatment of injured soldiers. There she meets a young medical student, an apprentice of the doctors in the area.

As they fight together to survive the situation from the foreign hands of cruelty, a special bond slowly blooms between the two.
