Before that, she's been living in her camper, trying to find her roots while pursuing her dream to go to Hollywood and put makeup on celebrities. But when she arrives in her son's hometown, on the very opposite side of the county, and sees a job posting for a makeup artist, she decides to give Storybrooke a chance. Besides, who needs glamour and glitz and celebrities when you can have doom and gloom and lifeless corpses? Killian's stubborn, just like his brother, and is initially opposed to the idea of hiring someone to do a job he can easily do himself. But Emma Swan might just have the right touch to put some life into the funeral home and add a little light to the darkness that's been looming over the house since Killian's wife died.
