Many of Natsu's habits come from Igneel, and he still keeps doing them despite the pain he felt when his father abandoned him. However, who he was and the family he had among the dragons are just as important to him as the family he's found in the guild, and he loves them all dearly... Even when they go out of their way to celebrate his birthday, a day he associates with upsetting memories.
However, a special gift from Gray simoultaneously makes things better and worse. How will he cope with finding out exactly how and why Igneel abandoned him, and the memories that come to the forefront of his mind while in the place he called "home" before Fairy Tail?
This two shot is for the Gratsu week 2021 prompts "Surprise" and "Goodbye."

The Worst Choice of my Life (a Gratsu fanfic)
A few months into Gray and Natsu's relationship, Gray starts to feel like choosing Natsu was a mistake. So, he dumps him and goes to Juvia. Devastated because Natsu had really liked Gray, he decides to pay a visit to his brother, Zeref. However, nobody said it was going to be an easy ride. Zeref's wise words to Natsu were to move on and so Natsu did. He went to the only open option and started to date Lisanna. Little did he know, a special someone had started to question his own actions. **Everything is still a work in progress, meaning not only the chapters and story itself are not completed but the story details itself are not finalized either** *I got lazy to do research every now and then so some of the things are made up by yours truly.* Disclaimer: I don't own any of Fairy Tail Take note! - I'll tell when the POV is switched but it's up to you to find out who's perspective it switched to. - Italics either mean flashback (if it's a couple paragraphs) or emphasis - ' are used to signal thoughtsCompleta
Thing Aren't Always As They Seem
A hopeful kiss in the night led to the disappearance of the man he loved. Two years later he still doesn't have a clue what happened, or why he was left behind. But Gray holds on to the hope that one day he'll have his answers. Natsu, where the hell are you?Completa
Beholden | NaLu |
Lucy's breath hitched. "You saved mine, so I'll have to save yours. That's just how it works. So, naturally, I can't leave until that happens. I'm beholden to you." No way. This is so not true. It can't be! It's not supposed to be! A dragon prince beholden to a mere human? This never ends well. He gave her a sheepish smile, and Lucy couldn't help but wonder that he might actually be enjoying himself, despite what he might say. "..so if I put it in other words.." he began. "You're kinda stuck with me.." All rights for the characters and concept of Fairy Tail belong to Hiro Mashima. Story inspired from a prompt. The plot development is mine :). Cover by the awesome @Mishka-adv ❤️ This is my own idea. Similarity to any existing fanfiction out there is purely coincidental....Completa
Behind the Mask <Discontinued>
*EDITED* Natsu Dragneel knew he was a half demon and Zeref's little brother from the start. He trained with Igneel, and also joined the Fairy Tail guild. He thought it will be all fine by just wearing a fake personality or a mask, just to cover up his true identity. He also develop feelings for the ice mage, Gray Fullbuster. But that was shattered immediately after seeing something he didn't want to see at all. That feelings affect him, making his personality and everything revealed his true nature. He become so mean than before, he become so opposite than his kind self. Natsu met someone, who is sealed many centuries ago. This person said that Natsu is a prince? Along with Zeref? Who is this person? Will his feelings for Gray be gone? What will happen if the guild knew his true identity? What will be their reactions? ✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌ This book has an OC here okay? I am just letting you know. And also I am not paring my OC's with Natsu.Completa
