Best friends Angie Yonaga, K1-B0, Kaede Akamatsu, Miu Iruma, and Rantaro Amami decide to throw a sleepover and invite their classmate, Kokichi Ouma, to join them. The purple-haired boy is hesitant at first, mostly because he isn't close with the group at all, but soon decides to attend the sleepover in an attempt to make some friends.

As soon as night arrives, Kaede and Rantaro suggest a spooky activity: contacting a ghost. The rest agree under the guise that ghosts aren't real, but the events of the night will prove them all to be gravely mistaken.

Please be aware that this is not a cute and wholesome Halloween story, it's violent and gory and quite the opposite of happy.

Kokichi's personality kind of goes from in-game to pregame over the course of the story. It's not exactly pregame, it's more like he loses his extrovert personality due to fear, but if pregame Saiouma is a trigger for you at all, then I do not recommend reading this story.

He had of course found it impressive how what was most likely a lie was so widely believed with little proof that it wasn't just some made-up concept used for our own entertainment and to explan day-to-day inconveniences. But he had never actually been convinced that something as far-fetched as anguished and disturbed souls wandering the face of the earth looking for vengeance or to finish something they never got to in life. Kokichi never believed in ghosts... Shuichi -when he is a kid- lives with his parents and his uncle in Japan before they had to move to America, where he left his only childhood friend, Kokichi. Years had passed, and ever since he had moved overseas, Kokichi had made some new friends: Maki and Himiko. Their first high school year only started for them, but the murderous group that was once in America named 'The Despairs' had travelled to Japan, and was followed them was none other than the young detectives Shuichi with his non-biological sibling Tsumugi. They both enrolled in the same high school as Kokichi and his friends and things happened. Now how will this go as Shuichi and Kokichi solve things out while Shuichi's on the road to getting the Despairs to justice? This story is based on a headcanon I found. Ships: Oumeno, Kaimaki, Saimatsu, Kiiruma, platonic Saiouharumota, Ounaga. Basically the same plotline but Korekiyo also killed Himiko for siStEr. Also, I changed my mind and Angie's still alive. How it happened is that during the seance, Angie reawoke. (Just pretend Korekiyo forgot to stab her.) After learning Angie survived, he went to kill Himiko as she would be an easy target mentally and physically. HEYA I FINALLY GOT A COVER PHOTO SO YAY
