354 people saved their own lives by an act of fate when they decided to have a space tour in the year 2999. One of the 354 people Kalina Rayland tells a first person account of her experiences of the Earth after billions of her fellow human beings were killed in a matter of minutes. She begins to wonder whether any humans should have survived at all or whether a life after such loss is worth living. Faced with daily struggles and extreme controlling from a higher power, Kalina is forced to make difficult decisions that affect the lives of everyone around her.
