Berry, a young cat, has always had a good heart, but something has been trying to taint it since birth. She was kind and caring, but every now and then, she would go overboard with trying to protect her loved ones. Berry finds a terrible truth that lowers her defenses and allows herself to be tainted. Now, she must find a way to avoid her berry-like heart from going bad before its too late.
"P-please! Let me go! I won't bother you, or your tribe, ever again! I swear on my life!" The cat stammered.
"Is that so?" Berry asked as a wave of recognition hit her. This cat, whoever he was, is very close to her in some way, but Berry couldn't quite pin it. Was it her father? Could it be her mother's brother? Did one of her siblings find a mate?
"Yes! I swear! Please let me go!" The cat begged as fear swallowed what was in his gaze before. Berry realized who this cat was and bristled her fur.
"Oh. It's you..." She growled.
