When the bombs fell the people retreated to the metro. The damp dark of the of the tunnels became their home, and their tomb. Unable to return to the surface the survivors adapted to their new life in the metro. Then 5 years after the bombs fell the mutants arrived. A new war began. The war for human survival and so far it's not been a good war. Where one station is defended another is attacked. The mutants however aren't the only threat the survivors face, they also face eachother.

This is the story of a pair of siblings fighting for the survival of the metro. Thordak and Vex Blade were just children when the bombs fell, being 7 and 2 respectively. In the first years following the bombs their parents, who were ex military, trained the oldest of the two, Thordak, to fight and survive in this hellish new life. Then 11 years after the bombs fell their parents died defending their station leaving a 18 year old Thordak to raise and protect his 13 year old sister. Life was difficult and dangerous but they eventually found their way to polis where Thordak would join the spartan order and become a spartan ranger followed by his sister four years later.
