Lilly Kinsaka is fifteen years old, and very good at forgetting things. She forgets that her father died from a stab wound, not from an illness. She forgets she used to have a fiancée. She forgets about the part she played in starting a war in a world she doesn’t remember being from. But that’s not important here. What is important is that one morning she wakes up and goes to school like normal, only to find herself under attack by a group of people she’s never met who desperately want to kidnap her. Her friends protect her, and she does remember that they seem inhumanly powerful. One of her friends even has the power to manipulate water. She returns home from school safe and sound, but is supposed to forget the whole day happened. She can’t. Because Lilly Kinsaka is very good at remembering things.
