Welcome to the au I have no plan for. Might be a one shot might not. Who knows. I just know it starts with lena walking her dog and Kara being obsessed with puppies so she went to a dog park while she was sad. She's oh so gay and Lenas oh so pretty. Kara won't be an alien, but they're still a thing. Also the idea is loosely based off of a drawing by sango-blep on tumbler. So, therefore the dog must be named Rex.
