The year is 2029. For four grueling years, humanity has been embroiled in a brutal, planet-spanning war against the Kalimarians, an advanced anthropomorphic race. This desperate conflict rages across Kalimaria-a world linked to Earth by ancient, portals that were rediscovered in the early 1940s. Amidst the chaos of this conflict, a U.S. Soldier, Scott Caine, finds himself the sole survivor of a devastating, failed operation. Thrown into an utterly unfamiliar and hostile landscape, his only hope for survival and understanding lies with a shaky alliance with a special operations team of Kalimarian soldiers from a neutral nation. These Kalimarians, facing a grave, escalating threat of their own, are desperately seeking aid from the United States-a plea that could redefine the very nature of this brutal, years-long war.
