Carina Mariana Bianca Lewis is working a late night shift at the lab when an uninvited guest shows up. Four days later, she wakes up in the medical wing of the famous billionaire Tony Stark's tower with seemingly random abilities that are slowly expanding into an extensive skill set.

When she first wakes up in the medical wing, she is visited by a familiar face. This mischievous projection follows her around for a few days until he manages to convince his brother to take him back to Earth and gain her forgiveness in person.

Eventually, Carina is targeted by the Winter Soldier as a potential recruit for HYDRA, but she manages to evade the villainous side of S.H.I.E.L.D. and even bring the assassin's former-and more humane-personality to the surface.

Two sides of a misunderstood coin... The silver-tongued prince of lies clad in gold, and the gold-hearted assassin with the silver arm. They both tried to kill her... plus, what does she know about love?
