Boruto's patience was already on the verge of breaking into all out panic. He pressed the heel of his palm against his brow, rubbing as he sighed. He glanced at Kawaki's clone lounging on his dad's couch.

"Look, I'm not trying to be a pain, but I also can't help you if you don't let me in on what's going on. I know you well enough by now that I don't think you'd try to leave the village again for no good reason," Boruto said. Or, at least, Boruto was pretty sure he wouldn't.

This is my attempt at telling Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto, Sasuke, and the rest of the crew's crumbling story from recent manga chapters up through to the time skip and beyond. If you need something similar to satisfy your cravings while waiting for manga releases, this is the fic for you.

The war was successful, and they won. Sasuke returned to the village, and Naruto and Sakura both made their dreams come true. They had families, and children and they were happy. Even so, something has changed, the 7 Hokage is not what he used to be. "Naruto, why are you so... cold?" "You don't know, Uchiha?" Sasuke Uchiha, broke the heart of the blonde, no, not only the heart, he had been destroying him for years, as well as the village and its inhabitants, until they finally crossed the border and the blond was never the same again. He became cold, mysterious, and resolute, and lost the joyful honor that everyone knew and loved. But the blonde hid from him an extremely important fact. A fact few knew. And what if the secret that Naruto has been hiding for years will be discovered by his son and daughter of his 'friend'? What if Naruto found out the truth about his wife's life?
