Boruto's patience was already on the verge of breaking into all out panic. He pressed the heel of his palm against his brow, rubbing as he sighed. He glanced at Kawaki's clone lounging on his dad's couch.

"Look, I'm not trying to be a pain, but I also can't help you if you don't let me in on what's going on. I know you well enough by now that I don't think you'd try to leave the village again for no good reason," Boruto said. Or, at least, Boruto was pretty sure he wouldn't.

This is my attempt at telling Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto, Sasuke, and the rest of the crew's crumbling story from recent manga chapters up through to the time skip and beyond. If you need something similar to satisfy your cravings while waiting for manga releases, this is the fic for you.
