Midoriya Izuku has been set back further than any other point in his life. If All-Might says he cant be a Hero, what chance does he have? He has to give up and move forward. No matter the pain... An extensive knowledge of Heroes and their world has its uses elsewhere. However, can he truly abandon that need to be a Hero? Can he deny himself that? Or will he give to his compulsion? But not before he turned All for One's head into a pulp and gave Izuku OFA. Bakugo decided to suck it up and took Izuku's hand when they were kids, so they're still friends. X Framed for a crime he didn't commit, Izuku Midoriya is sentenced to life in Tartarus Prison for commiting treason. He was eventually released 5 years later and disappeared for another 5 with but hatred for current hero society & his former classmates. From framed to famed.
After being framed for a crime he didn't commit Izuku Midorya is betrayed by all but one of his friends, his teachers and his own mother. After being expelled from UA and sent to Tartarus all the while the good name he made for himself is dragged through the mud, that is until a video surfaced showing the league of villains bragging about how they were responsible for the crime and how easily the heroes turned on one of their own, further denting society's trust in the heroes.
