Hi, my name is Clarisse but my friends call me Reese. So basically I just wanted to spend a nice summer vacation with my girls at the beach, but of course with an older brother who has other plans, that was all a figment of my imagination. Not only was he spending it at home with me, he had invited his group of pals to spend it with us. That group of pals included half of the soccer team, some musicians and one or two gamers. Most importantly, one of the boys on the soccer team was the schools player and most loved male specimen from our school. Jake Sampson. Oh and don't worry, I wasn't going to be the only girl there, he had invited the most bitchy, slutty ans all round drop-dead gorgeous, horrible group of girls you will ever meet. I think I should mention that I was a low life girl who got bullied by these cheerleaders. The main one was Ariel Thompson. To put it plainly, she was a complete and utter Bitch, along with her 'crew.' I only found out about everyone staying over when they interrupted my and my two best friends whilst we were having a dance party in the lounge in only undies and my fathers button down work shirts whilst singing into our hairbrushes. It was quite embarrassing to say at the least. Luckily our parents were away for the rest of the year touring the world or else all hell would have broken loose. Lucky them.

This year was supposed to be simple: survive the rest of high school, save up as much money as possible, move back to California and become roommates with Stacey. That was the plan, it was all set from the moment she landed in New York. But of course, the universe had to come and rearrange everything. * * * There I sat in the cabin of a small fly-bridge boat as Josh sailed us to who knows where. Gripping the cushion of my seat I glanced from my phone to different spots around me. It had been more than half an hour since I had sent the text to the group chat. No one had called me or texted me and I could feel my hopes being crushed. Here I thought this small group of people actually cared about me. I should have known better. Minutes later Josh emerged and leaned against the door frame. He smiled at me and I felt something flip inside my rib cage. My mind couldn't figure out why Josh's presence affected my heart beat. When he appeared my hands became sweaty and my stomach fluttered. "Ready?" He asked in a velvet tone. Crossing my arms over my chest I raised an eyebrow at him. Where exactly had he brought us to?"Follow me," he left the frame of the door and I followed him. Snaking around to the front of the boat I saw blankets and pillows laid over the front. * * * Please excuse my sorry excuse of a summary and just please read the story instead. Thank you.
