When 20-year-old Matildas star, India Harrison, was offered a contract at Arsenal Women's Football Club for the 2020/2021 season, she was ecstatic and ready for the next step in her career. Although she would have to leave her best friend, Kristie Mewis, at the Houston Dash, she was excited to be in the same country as her close friend and Australian captain, Sam Kerr.

When Indi arrived at Arsenal, she was entranced by the Dutch girl, Jill Roord. Jill and Indi's supposed "friendship" quickly developed, with both players realising they were not only friends.

At the same time, Sam and Kristie, with help from Indi, had been developing their own romance, despite being long distance.

But Indi's past wasn't what many people expected. Her dark secrets ran deeper than what was on the surface, or hidden by sleeves. What does Indi do when those closest start diving into this past? Will she speak the truth and open up or will she live with the haunting experiences, forever?

A story about love, friendship and triumph, in a world that can often seem unconquerable.

After the events of the 2023 World Cup, lives changed. People changed. And for India Harrison, Bradie Van Dyk, and Hallie Mount, their worlds changed. After the tournament, Indi headed back to Arsenal to start her new campaign for the upcoming season. After her outstanding World Cup, she was winning awards and being recognised as one of the best and fairest the game had ever seen. As for Jill Roord, she was still in Wolfsburg, but both were trying to make it work. Both aiming to show just how strong a long distance relationship can be, despite the possible hardships that came alongside it. For Bradie, she was off to Barcelona to start her season with one of the power houses of Europe. She was scoring goals, and playing with some of the world's greatest. Bradie soon formed a tight friendship with Keira Walsh, as both players were grieving the incidents of the World Cup, and also formed a new connection with Spanish midfielder, Alexia Putellas. As for the Lionesses and Chelsea, a new signing made her mark. Hallie Mount, the younger sister of Chelsea superstar, Mason Mount, signed a contract with Chelsea before the season, becoming the new starting left back for both club and country, the predecessor of a certain someone. After We Were Friends follows all three of them, Indi, Bradie and Hallie, as they struggle through the upcoming year with their respective clubs and the repercussions of that fateful day in Australia. How do Bradie and Indi restart their new lives without the person they always presumed would be there? How does Hallie deal with the issues of being the 'replacement'? And what happens when each person is tested more than ever before? After We Were Friends is the sequel to the Indi Harrison Trilogy, set after the incidents of Only Friends, It's Our Secret and Little Do They Know.

Fake It Till We Make It

35 parts Complete

Maeve Linton's transfer from Manchester United to Arsenal was supposed to be a fresh start - new city, new teammates, and no unnecessary drama. Two years on, her career is thriving... but her personal life is a mess, thanks to her parents' relentless questions about her love life. In a moment of desperation, Maeve blurts out that she's already seeing someone. And when they press for details, she drags in the only person she trusts enough to fake it with - her best friend and teammate, Leah Williamson. Leah agrees, because that's what best friends do. They hold hands at family dinners, post the occasional carefully-staged photo, and laugh through awkward questions. But the longer they play pretend, the less it feels like acting. Jokes turn into late-night confessions. Staged kisses feel alarmingly real. And suddenly, Maeve and Leah are caught in a game neither of them prepared for. With the season heating up and feelings threatening to derail everything, the two must figure out if they're willing to risk their friendship for something more - or if love, like football, sometimes requires the boldest moves of all.
