Months pass and Tristen is still in anguish over Ethan's destruction and betrayal. What doesn't help is that the entire world wants them dead. Protests from around the world are calling for the Elements to be either disbanded or worse, killed. Things get more problematic once Ethan comes back to warn the Elements of the Cosmic Universal Authorities coming to kill them for being too powerful. Can their lives get any worse? The Elements must get it together in order for them to save their own lives, save others' lives, and save their reputation.

But she's not the only one, there are nine others supposed to be besides her; two of which never made it past their mother's womb and one who's incompatible. But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault.
