Symbiosis:
Following a freak accident at a remote drilling operation in Antarctica, a deadly disease unlike any other ever seen before spreads to every corner of the globe.  Victims become little more than mindless eating machines and the world as we know it is wiped out in a matter of months.
Less than 10% of the world's population has survived and those that are still uninfected are few and far between.
Sascha is one of the lucky ones.  Having been spared in the first wave of the infection, she sets off on a cross country journey from Seattle to Atlanta and the CDC  where it's rumored the few remaining scientists have found a vaccine for the disease.  
Along the way, she encounters a wide range of survivors and victims and must learn who to trust, and who to kill...and ultimately who is telling the truth.All Rights Reserved

They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in.
