When The Snow Melts // DNF

Once upon a time, in a land beyond the stars and moon, there was a world that consisted of immortal beings. Of fae. Of mystical creatures that roamed the earth, along with humans.

There was once a near-forgotten prophecy so old that it was sought to be a myth. It read that one of the strongest mortals would fall in love with a faerie. Not just any faerie, but one of the most powerful ones to live. A forbidden romance that had already been written in the stars.

George Founders. Orphan, alone, an only child, and out on his own in a fantasy land that just breathed death and despair.

George is set out on a trek to discover as much as he could about the mythical creatures that scattered across the continent before he dies. His journey through the lands has landed him in various amounts of trouble. Nothing could have prepared him for his unyielding next contender.

When George is migrating east of the forest, he's caught in a certain High Fae's snare. Like a feral animal. While hanging from a tree by his feet, he could have sworn on his small, meaningless, human life that he had never before seen such beautiful, beautiful green eyes.

Dream asks for George's aid in saving all of Boridian. Will George be able to confront his past and embrace his future, or will it swallow him up whole leaving nothing left? It's a race against the clock, and the universe seems to have a wicked sense of humor. Fae and mortal, mortal and fae. Who would have guessed that these two were destined to be together? It's quite cruel, isn't it?
