Breaking Rules
"Sophia, why are you doing this?" he asks me softly. I finally open my eyes and look up at him through my hooded eyelids. "I know that after the alcohol wears off, and I return home that I won't get this chance again," I say. Steve nods and leans down and kisses my forehead. "So for tonight, we can pretend" I whisper, "pretend that my father isn't some jerk who hates Greasers and that we live in a world without prejudice," I say. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sophia is a Soc, Steve Randle is a Greaser. All Greaser's and Soc's are supposed to hate each other, so why don't they? Soc's aren't all bad, Steve's quick to find that out. Rated T for minor violence, and mild language.Complete

Can You Keep A Secret? (The Outsiders Fan Fiction)
"You lied to me," He insinuated. I felt my heart leap to my throat, this can't be happening. "It was a mistake, everyone makes mistakes," my voice dropped. "Yes, but you make more than most people." "I-" "You hurt me; you worry everyone, everyone you get close to you hurt. Ever since Ma and Pa died you've been nothing but inconsiderate to everyone else. You hurt all of us with your lies." "Not on purpose," I whispered, "I never wanted to hurt you, I only wanted to-" Soda put his hands up to silence me. "Rosey-" "Please don't do this, Soda, I care about him." I heard panic tinging my own voice. He said nothing. ----------- Friends are the family you can choose, but sometimes, those friends are more like lovers than family. Rosemarie Curtis, Sadie Cade, Sodapop Curtis, Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, Darry Curtis, Dallas Winston, Steve Randle, and Two-bit Mathews. All greasers and the best of friends, inseparable at the least. It's always been this way; a gang, a tight knot group of people. Nobody thought anything could disrupt the perfect little imbalance of friendship that consisted in the gang. Especially love, or complicated relationships. Complicated meaning... hidden. How will their friendship stay on the straight and narrow when fate's gun is loaded with twists, ready to be fired at the 9 gang members? And the main question is; can you keep a secret? Because there are plenty to keep.Complete
If our lives switched
"Plant me next to mom and dad for me, will you?" ------ Basically if Ponyboy and Johnny switched lives, like whatever happened to Johnny happens to Pony boy. Like what happened to Johnny happens to pony, and how heroic pony is to save Johnny twice. What would the gang feel? How would the gang react to all of this? How would they feel? How would they react to the killings...did pony really mean it? How would Darry and soda feel if they found out pony killed bob and how they would react? How would it effect the gang later on in life? Btw I don't own any of these characters! Se Hinton, does! Sadly /jk. This is a short story so don't get mad once it's over :) TW: graphic, Socs, self harm, suicide, suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety.Complete
