Izuku Midoriya was born in Japan but grew up in America before moving back to high school at the age of 15. He's in his last year of high school now, but there's one small detail that I forgot to tell you. Midoriya was born in a different world. Death Note's universe to be exact.
What if Midoriya rarely ever smiled, and was insecure about his looks?
What if Midoriya liked to cross-dress, leaving everyone wondering about his real gender?
What will happen to Midoriya if he went to the same High-school as Light Yagami?
What if Midoriya was popular in his new school and caught the eye of many people, including Light?
What if Midoriya worked at a bakery before being invited to join the Kira case?
What if L fell in love?
Will Midoriya be able to stop Kira and find love on the way?

(I do not own Death Note or any of its characters. There will be some of my OC's in this story and will feature my version of Izuku Midoriya.)

The One and Only Deku
In a world full of superpowers called Quirks, not everyone is created equal. Izuku "Deku" Midoriya is well aware of this fact. Having been born without a Quirk he knows all too well the struggle that comes with being different. However, he never gave up wanting to help people, to be a Hero. Eventually, his wish was granted and he was given a Quirk by his all time favourite Hero, All Might. Now he bears the responsibility of being All Might's successor. Of course, he won't be alone. He has his friends and classmates to help him along the way. Nothing can shake his resolve to be a Hero.....well almost nothing. There is something that always manages to test his confidence - Girls. He can handle schoolwork, he can handle Aizawa, hell he can even handle villain attacks. But girls...those are too much for him. Little does he know that he is going to HAVE to deal with them as they decide that being friends isn't going to cut it anymore. Izuku Midoriya, a student attending a middle school in Musutafu, Japan, was known to be a quiet kid with no Quirk to speak of. In a modern era where people were defined by the supernatural aspects labeled as one's own Quirk. A person was only as good as their Quirk was strong, be it a physical or outward manifestation. So what would you call a person known amongst the few 20% of a world population, not holding such incredible uniqueness. Worthless, or at least that's what he was told every day while he continued to strive for greatness.
