There's a fine line between love and hate...isn't there?

When Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova lived in Ohio as part of an undercover mission to gather intelligence, Yelena was far too young to realize the family had a second, more sinister, objective: to locate and apprehend a neighborhood girl who tested well for becoming a part of the notorious white room and the red guard.

In this A/U, the Sokovia accords were resolved, and the Avengers remained a team. This takes place between the events of Black Widow pre-Thanos.

Bucky Barnes X Y/n: I hate you, I love you

58 parts Complete

Her hands bore the scars of violence, and her eyes were dull and glassy, reflecting a lost luster and a soul yearning for release from life's burdens. I encountered evil in my childhood. Trapped in a life she never chose, Y/n is the niece of Alexander Pierce. As the years unfold, she finds herself stripped of her choices, her autonomy, and anything that might lead her to happiness. After enduring significant memory loss and witnessing events that challenge her moral compass, she realizes she must escape and warn someone about Hydra's sinister plans. When she joins Coulson's team, she meets Bucky Barnes-a man she quickly grows to resent, as it becomes apparent that he feels the same way about her. Book Quote: "You shouldn't even be here... you don't belong here or anywhere else for that matter."
