As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. It was now nighttime and I returned to my room which was very dark. The curtains were closed, strange I'm sure it was open this morning... Whatever. I put my bag down and went straight into the shower. I didn't spend a long time inside cause I was very tired and wanted to sleep. I froze in fear for a few seconds and stopped moving. I suppose he let his guard down since I stopped struggling, so I took this chance and flipped us over. It was now my turn to be on top and somehow succeeded to untie myself. I was lucky he didn't have time to fully tie me yet, so it was kind of easy. It was dark, so I couldn't see his face, but I still put my hands around his throat and started to strangle him a bit. 'W-Who are you and w-what do y-you want?' I asked trying to hide my fear that I miserably failed. '...' He still didn't respond, I was starting to loose control on myself. His silence was killing me and I started to shake in fear. Then he spoke and caught all my attention: 'You're so cute when you're afraid pet.' I froze, I recognized this voice and my fear turned to be true. All the struggling to escape, to disappear, to forget about him now came back in an instant. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. In the year 2088, there exists a city known as Cyberlantis which is full of beautiful bright lights and incredible technology. One day, Ryan is hanging out after school with his close friends, when a mysterious object falls from the sky, and crash lands nearby. They go to investigate, only to find that the mysterious object is a dark astronaut's that is possessed by an alien lifeform. The helmet then forces itself onto Ryan's head, giving him strange superpowers that are truly out of this world. The group of friends, led by their new alien companion, embark on an exciting journey around the futuristic city of Cyberlantis, making new friends along the way and discovering some of the city's secrets from years passed by. However, throughout their adventure, the five friends cant help but feel that somebody is watching their every move... Originally, I created this book for my graphic art A level course, and since then I have expanded it into a two part series, both featuring hand drawn illustrations by me. The illustrations get much better in quality as the story goes along as my digital drawing skills grew overtime as I wrote the story.
