-A mystery novel-
This is a fun friend group! A normal friend group! Four friends that hang out all the time, hating seventh grade together, terrified of the many villains-
Nevermind, in a town with no superheroes but three supervillains who hate each other, things get complicated when you don't share your identity. And when you're the only one in your quartet who's normal.
Well, it's fine. Trying to solve this cool mystery Arcadia found was just a joke anyway. Unfortunately, things get difficult when she's closer to the drama than she thought. Though, who would believe a twelve year old if she went along proclaiming there might me a larger story at hand than a few petty villains.
(Or, an original story that purposely drops every cliché. This is not a story about superheroes in the slightest, but actually a fantasy story set in modern time where the magical characters play the charade of villains in a sci-fi story. If you we're looking for a supervillain story, that is just how they are perceived, but really they are just villains, not supervillains. This is a story about fantasy, mystery, and friendship; not supervillains/heroes, science fiction, or anything remotely similar to what you might find in a Marvel or DC movie. This is something completely different, I swear. I feel the need to clear that up, sorry.)
(the character on the cover does NOT have Heterochromia (different colored eyes), rather my cover glitched when I uploaded it)
(this story includes cursing, violence, etc. in future chapters. More warnings to be added.)
Adele knows she witnessed a murder - what she doesn't know is just how personal it is.
*****
A girl was brutally murdered in the basement of a sorority house in spring 2011. Adele Theroux thinks she saw the killer - and the killer definitely saw her. What she doesn't know is why this all happened and who this guy is. As she tries to solve the mystery from a distance while in witness protection, the connections keep getting weirder and more personal. Might she be able to relate to the killer in a way that no one else can? And what does that mean about her own psyche?
