Klaus has had a miserable life. He has arguments with his sister and kills her. Then there's his first Hybrid Tyler Lockwood who broke his sire bond and created something else. Leaving Klaus with beautiful 17-year old vampire Caroline Forbes. Klaus has no idea how to "woo" her, but he tries his best. Caroline Forbes can never get the guy she wants. What happens though when she starts to fall for the bad guy? Can she get him to change? More importantly, can she get her best friends Stefan Salvatore, Elena Gilbert, and Bonnie Bennett to accept her love for the man that tried to kill Elena?
