"Do you ever wonder what lays beyond your castle's walls?" The voice of a forlorn Prince rang out along your ears, the husky rumble of his voice accentuating his each and every word. The soft pattering of rain set the scene of a rainy day as you found yourself alone with the man, a curious look to those marvelous golden eyes of his as he watched the outside world unfold. He had a novel splayed open along his lap, hair tied back into a not-so-neat ponytail that fluffed out along his hips. As you watch his lips part to pop a chocolate into his mouth, you cannot help but note.. Damn, was this Royal pretty. He takes a few moments to notice your staring, but by the time you look away, it was too late; he had noticed. As you open your mouth to speak, you are cut off by a sudden fit of laughter. Leaning closer to you, he held one of the chocolates to you. ".. You know, if you wish for one, you may use your words instead. I don't bite.. most of the time." ... Was he that oblivious? Before you question the man's actions, though, you are awestruck by the grin that spread along his face. It was not just any one of his smiles, but it was genuine. A shine graced his eyes as he brushed a hand along your hair, tucking a stray piece behind one of your ears before sitting back. Keahi released a low hum as he placed a rose into his book, blowing out a candle that had been sitting nearby. His jewelry clicked as he got to his feet and outstretched a hand for you to take, your heart fluttering in your chest as he gave you a wink. This is the day you truly got to know a certain Bird Prince. This was the start of a journey that was to come.
