Amber was always seen as beautiful. Well, she is, but she's also June's best friend, so that can be a bit overwhelming. Skinny, petite, and curvy, she got everything.
June, on the other hand, is fat and tall. She felt like she couldn't compare, and it felt like everyone else felt the same way also.
