Tsukishima Kei and Tadashi Yamaguchi have been best friends since elementary. They went to the same junior high and eventually the same high school. Yamaguchi figured out he was gay and had feelings for his best friend in his second year of junior high. He confessed and they were in a relationship for the rest of junior high. They are now halfway through their first year at Karasuno High.
