Life amongst the top 1% has always been like a game of chess. Every move you made, every word you said could alter the game. You had to master every trick in the book.

I did.

I was the perfect multi-millionaire daughter with the perfect multi-millionaire boyfriend. I attended Saint-Louis Preparatory Academy like every other ultra rich kid. I stayed clear of the untouchable four students.

Everyone called them the 𝐾𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠. They had one rule. I broke it, and suddenly everything went crashing down. I had just changed the course of the game. I didn't know the rules of this new game. I was a pawn. I made one wrong move.
