Peppa Bardot is not a biologist, nor is she an expert on animal behaviour. So it comes as both a surprise and a great inconvenience when she is tasked upon arrival at an alien planet with observing the native sentient species, and documenting their behaviours. This includes all behaviours, with an emphasis on those that might not be particularly safe for work. She isn't given a 'why' for these instructions, but as she embarks on her task and becomes entangled with one of the handsome locals, she finds herself minding less and less.
But perhaps the 'why' is more important than she realises.
