It's been sixteen years since Eragon King-killer and Saphira Bright-scales have won the everlasting battle between the evil King Galbatorix and his black dragon Shruikan. People all over Alagaësia are still rejoicing thinking it's a safe land of freedom from Galbatorix, but they are wrong; He may be dead but he still lives in the hearts of some people.. Some people that want revenge for the death of their evil king. BUT they were never expecting an orphaned girl named Serena to come into the big picture and help save many lives with the help of her new Dragon, an unusual Elf, and a Werecat.
--Serena has just turned sixteen she has been "that girl","street rat", and "orphan" since she was fourteen when both her mother and father were killed during the war when some of Galbatorix men set fire to her cottage while her parents were still inside. Every year the anniversary day of the downfall of Galbatorix the town Carvahall has a day full of celebration. Usually Serena hides in the woods and watches families and friends play games and eat rice-cakes, sweets, and drink honey tea; but not today, a odd looking cat is in her hiding spot. She thinks nothing of it until this odd looking cat speaks to her...in her mind...and he tells her to follow him.

Dragons live on most of the land, and with the human population growing, the humans and the dragons are at war. Adelaide is a fourteen year old girl. She goes to school like every other kid. Her dad even fights in the war. But with her abusive mother, she has trouble knowing whether the humans are actually doing the right thing by killing as many dragons as possible. Oliver is a FireEyes dragon who can't even blow fire like the other FireEyes. His father, a member of the Council, thinks of him as a huge disgrace. His mother, who is an outcast because she got divorced from Oliver's father, hardly lets Oliver out of the house because she is worried he might get hurt. One day, Adelaide sees a carrier pigeon with a letter addressed to her. It flies away when she tries to pick it up and the pigeon leads her to the edge of human territory, which is about seven miles from her home. She then bumps into Oliver, who becomes her best friend. When her mother discovers she is writing letters to a dragon, she kicks Adelaide out. Little does she know that she kicked Adelaide out just as the Council was planning an attack on Adelaide's city. Adelaide and Oliver must find the Parliament of Peace and get them to help Adelaide's home town. Can they help stop the war in time to save both of their families from being killed by the other species?Complete

I am a huge fan of The Books of Eragon and this fan-fiction is a story of two brothers from another dimension, that are more connected to Eragon's world than they could ever think. This story starts years after the war against Galbatorix and his reign over Alagaësia. After Eragon and Arya left with the Dragons, a dark presence started to set over Alagaësia and then everything started to shift slowly as that presence took over... only a Dragon Raider and his friends can save or destroy this presence. Its fine, most of these things don't make sense until you go into this world yourself and see what they are both going through, so follow me as we see life through their eyes and try to understand the reason behind the connection with Eragon's World and the Ark twins.
