Newton's Third Law of Motion declares that for every action, there's an equal and opposing reaction. Forces come in pairs; happiness and sadness, good and evil, and positive and negative. Everything is dual. Nailea believes she has been stuck in the negative spectrum recently, with things worsening. However, she desperately wants to be on the positive side of things, even if it means forcing her constant happy demeanour. When their paths collide, Sebastian's solitude is ripped away, and Nailea finds herself bound to him in an act of pettiness. Pulled towards each other, they both struggle to maintain the delicate line between somewhat friends and something more, something nearly cosmic. People tend to forget that every person has the essence of their opposite contained within them. It's what pulls them together, after all. Just as the Law of Polarity depicts.

Sasha Belrose doesn't date hockey players. Not after what happened last time. As the coach's daughter, she's grown up around the rink, watching the game she loves be played by boys she can't trust. She keeps her head down, helps coach the little league, and makes sure her rules stay unbroken. Then Beckett Reid transfers in. Six-foot-something, cocky grin, golden hair, and a habit of finding her in every room. He's reckless on the ice, infuriating off of it, and obsessed with getting past her walls. When her dad forces them to co-coach the little league team, she's trapped in shared space with the one player she swore she'd avoid. And the worst part? Beckett doesn't just get under her skin - he makes her laugh, makes her feel seen, and makes her forget every reason she told herself to stay away. But Sasha knows what happens when she lets someone in. Beckett knows he's not going to stop until she does. And with every practice, every stolen glance, and every rule she's tempted to break, the ice between them gets thinner. And thinner. And thinner...
