Delirium is an odd state to live in. It blurs the line between reality and fiction. Liv thought she had fallen into a state of delirium. It was the only explanation for the Demogorgons, mind flayers, and an odd man-child wielding a nail bat and bossing preteens around like he was their babysitter. 
Delirium. That was the explanation. Liv was in a state of delirium. She just hoped she could get out before she completely lost her mind.
