Rhynne knew nothing but cold for years, from her work on the side of a snowy mountaintop to the relationship with her father. One day, a pair of knights arrive, declaring her an asset to the war against the Ugran, a murderous race of monsters, but there's a secret they're not telling. In a world awash with magic, adventure, and deadly foes, Rhynne will have to find her way unscathed.

This story is an exploration of gender identity in a world where the phrase has yet to be discovered, much less understood. Rhynne, a biological female, has known a life removed from society and gender norms. The road ahead for Rhynne is dangerous, confusing, and long, but determination may yet make happiness possible.

Rowyn is a thief. She knows how to slip in and out before being noticed, but when she's brought from her world to that of the fae and other strange peoples, Rowyn is alone. She's lost the only people in her life she's ever had. Now, totally alone and in a new world, Rowyn is scared and in mourning. Ferelith is a princess. She knows how to work with people from all over the fae world, but when she's put on a mission by her mother, the Queen, everything changes. Not just for Ferelith, but her sister, too. Queen Enyo Wildweaver is kidnapped, and the sisters don't know who to trust. The group of thieves that Rowyn works with now offer to help the two princesses get their mother back, but what can they do when faced with the truth of who did it? After all, when a cult of demon worshippers abducts your Queen Mother, how can you hope to save her in time? Tensions are high. Passions run hot. Death is around every corner, and so is the chance that they will fall deep into infinity. None of them knows what's waiting for them at the end of the line, but they need to try and get there together. There will be betrayals. There will be lots of pain and tears and happiness and joy. But through it all, they will be together, so maybe they can pull through. Right?
