A journalist sacked for phone hacking and tired of his decadent life style researches a triple murder that took place in his own ancestral home during the English Civil War. He discovers that events which occurred there nearly four hundred years ago are mirrored by his son's relationship with a Muslim girl whose father has forbidden her to marry outside of the faith. Returning to his ancestral home, the journalist finds himself assailed by memories of the tragedy which appear to be embedded into the fabric of the building and brought to life by his presence. When his son's girlfriend is abducted and forced to appear before a sham Sharia court for offending Islamic values, the memories in the house take on a more tangible form which propel the journalist into a dramatic chase to rescue his son and girlfriend from a terrible punishment.

Have you heard of Aanya the A-List actress and motivational speaker? Of course you have, but do know about her journey from rags to riches? Well its nothing short of an extreme emotional rollercoaster. Aanya always dreamed of breaking free from the confines of her small village, where a girl's fate was decided by others. An aspiring actress with a fire in her heart, she seizes her chance when offered a role in a film-at the cost of her long, cherished hair. What begins as a bold move to defy the norms spirals into a nightmare when she is kidnapped and forced into a life of misery, stripped of her dignity, her dreams, and even her hair. Sold into a cruel marriage with a shady old person, Aanya's life is shaped by abuse and loss. Yet, she refuses to be broken. She falls in love with the man's son, leading to the ultimate betrayal. With nowhere to hide, she has to fend for herself. Working as a hooker in a casino she is reunited with an old classmate. With his support, Aanya begins a journey of reclamation-from finding unlikely love to surviving the shame her past brings upon her. Together, they are thrust into a society that punishes them for daring to be different, but they refuse to give in. Fleeing to a new city, Aanya carves out a new identity-a model who captures the world's attention and a motivational speaker who inspires others to rise above their scars. In a story of unyielding spirit and unexpected courage, Aanya discovers that sometimes, it's not about what's taken from you, but what you choose to create from what's left. **This story does have themes of abuse and harrassment.**
