We have all heard the stories of the Lone Wanderer of the Capital Wasteland. He has fought the good fight, saved the lives of many, freed people from pain and suffering and has given the people of the wasteland everything they could have asked for...

Yet he has not asked for anything in return and still continues today. The people cannot believe that a single man, who walked out of the great doors of Vault 101, has done so much in so little time but there is a question that remains on their minds...

What was he before the exile of Vault 101 began?

This story is about the years that the lone wanderer spent in Vault 101, from when he was a kid just starting school all the way to the day before the exile began. 

I'm calling the lone wanderer in this story "John Doc" and it includes small violence, adventure and romance. 

Quick note that I do not own the fallout characters that take place in this story or the places that are shown though I am using them for the purpose of this storyline.
