Have you ever been able to do somehing amazing, but you have to keep it to yourself? Keep it under control? Because if you don’t, bad things will happen, and people will get hurt?

If you do, then you know exactly how Ashida Nakamuri feels. She was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, away from the rest of humanity, by her Sorcerer mother and the Ōdā NoZa Sainō Yutakana, or the Order of The Gifted, an ancient cult. Their practices are dark and twisted, centered on their one ultimate goal of ruling the world. Ashida has never gone to school, never seen another child her age, never been outside the Order’s walls. That is because she is dangerous. Very dangerous. On the day of her birth, it was discovered that she had been born with the mark of Warui Majo, or Witch, enscribed around her left eye. The Order has spent the last 15 years training her and turning her into the perfect supernatural weapon. She has incredible, uncontrollable powers- the ability to reshape reality. One day, as a result of the Order’s tampering, Ashida’s powers explode out of control, killing most of the Order- including her mother. With the vengefull Order on her tail, she runs away, to search for a new way to control her abilities, to search for her father, the mysterious and powerful Kuro Tin, or Black Hand, who disapeared years ago. But will she find him in time? Will the Order’s dark dreams be realized?
