Jason loved Lexie, but when he drank, he was a different person. Lexie would do anything for Jason. She had longed for him since middle school, and when he finally noticed her, she wanted to make sure she didn't lose him. They had been together for three years, and every moment was blissful until that night.
Jaxon Hart had recently graduated high school and had been trying to get his band off the ground. Unfortunately, his shows were small and weren't paying the bills. When he heard a local high school chorus teacher retiring, he reached out and landed the job as her replacement. It wasn't the perfect job but it involved music and that was everything to him.
When Lexie and Jaxon meet, sparks erupt. Will they light everything on fire and burn their world down around them, or can they survive it and be stronger for it.
This story is about a girl fighting to survive an abusive relationship. There will be moments you might need to skip over, but it's the hard truth of an abusive relationship. Between trying to survive school and his home life, Andy's also got the problem of Juliet and not being able to see her anymore due to an incident with his father. He knows that if he continues seeing her, his home life and relationship with his father is only going to get even worse than it already is, but without her, he just keeps spiralling down further and further. He just needed to get his mind around everything that has been going on.
