She spoke with a basic English  full of mistakes mixed with an obvious Korean accent , and then leaned ninety degrees  as all Koreans do, which happens to be an extremely rooted act of apology. Her action caused her short red bangs to cover her face.

And yes as a person of my nature, a person who is rude to the bone, cranky and apathetic -you can call me an asshole- I silently retreated and closed the door in her face.

And that was the first meeting between two negative poles.
