In a future America, the age of humanity is over. The world has been ravaged by invasive creatures from another world. The people who still live on the ground work in mines, always at the risk of the gases coming from the mineral refineries, the risk of mines collapsing, or of creatures lurking in the shadows. Pendragon is a 14 year old coal miner in the 50th mining sector, one of the poorest in the Unified City States of America. He is decent at his job, and ever since his father past, he has taken care of his sister. He never knew his mother, but he always dreamed she was in the moving cities, and someday he would go there and all his dreams would come true. Nowadays he thinks he will be on the ground forever, and never have the ability to go anywhere near the city lights.
Then his sister get captured by criminals from the city of New Chicago. Now he must travel to the city of his dreams, and save his sister. But is this city even what it really seems? Or is there a web of lies he must untangle to reach the goal and save his loved one... and perhaps save the people of New Chicago.

Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun.
