Chizu, Japan, Tottori prefecture...
November 8th, 2021 better known to the world as Kage no hi, or Shadow Day. For mysterious reasons the Earth vanished from the solar system but continued to sustain its life.
November 7th, 2121, almost 100 years since Shadow Day, the earth is almost unrecognizable. The rampant darkness that has spread across the world caused widespread madness in every major population center of the world. Within the first few years, people were rioting and killing in the streets while others huddled in their homes wondering how all of this happened. Satō Tomoe learned from a friend in a community that there were reports that Shadow Day began in the town of Chizu in the Tottori Prefecture, so she ventures into the epicenter to see for herself if this is truly the resting place of the first to experience Shadow Day.
Note: This story is meant to be a one-shot and nothing more, however, if it gets good attention, I may find a way to formulate a story out of it. Also, this one-shot was inspired by Hello Future Me's video essay entitled The Power of Abandoned Places, which is linked below, make sure to send him some love!

Project Eclipse: Light
100 years ago during a solar eclipse a strange light fell to the earth. No one knows if that light fell from the heavens all that is known is destruction shortly followed. On that day humanity found itself at the mercy of a deadly virus. The world was brought crumbling to its knees. The surviving humans found refuge from the virus in vaults made originally for containment of human experiments. This virus sent the world into an apocalyptic stone age. 50 years after the virus humans around the globe began to develop anomalies in their bodies causing strange mutations. Those who had been affected by this mutation were no longer recognizable. They were monsters rampaging through the devastated world. That is until a strange case where a woman was infected but did not mutate. She was thought to have been the cure. Little did they know she was actually the cause for the world we live in today. That's right she was the first, Tina Primrose, the virus eventually seemed to died off as the descendants of Tina became hunters who'd hunter their brethren with the abilities gifted to them through the blood of Tina Primrose. Then there was the war between the remaining humans and those monsters. Naturally the humans won with our aid. Life was fine as we rebuilt the world until the day of our betrayal. The new government formed by the humans banished us from this world and we were hunted down. The last surviving members of the Primrose bloodline were two siblings. A Boy named Dakota Isaragi Primrose and his sister formed a group known as L.U.N.A. An Organization dedicated to those who have been born with the cursed bloodlines to find solace. The government attacked the organization but to save his brethren Dakota struck a deal with the Government to spar the lives of the members of the organization if he turned himself over to the government. Sadly, he was also betrayed. His brethren slain and his memory wiped the government believed they'd won but, the battles only just begun.
